A Brief Intro

“Live Like You’ll Die Tomorrow, Learn Like You’ll Live Forever”

Chris Dages MBA, CMA (pending)

Where to start!? Well, I do love entrepreneurship. I believe entrepreneurship is the spirit of our country. Where we get to fully express ourselves and create what we can dream of in this reality. Entrepreneurship gives people the hope to “make it big” and to challenge themselves to grow in many incredible ways. As a successful entrepreneur with 20 years of hands-on experience and two successful industry exits (10+ years in the cannabis industry and 10+ years in manufacturing in the shooting sports industry) I have learned quite a lot, and would love to share it with you. After “dropping out” of college at 19, I moved to Lake Tahoe in 2001 to pursue a career in snowboarding, but it only took a few years of mountain living and “ski-bumming” before I got the desire to continue my education. I knew there was more for me out there and that I had to continue to grow myself if I were to truly live happy and fulfilled.

At 24 I re-enrolled myself in college and went on to obtain undergraduate degrees in accounting, economics, and international business, ultimately obtaining my MBA at 34 years old. Shortly after, I wrote my first book, Founder’s Footing, and started to apply those lessons to other people’s organizations. Knowing that I wanted to enhance my “hard skills”, I then entered into a certified management accountant program (CMA). I enrolled in, studied for, and passed both CMA exams in 7 months. And now that I’ve freed myself up and sold my ownership in my old manufacturing company, I get the privilege of spending my time helping other entrepreneurs and business owners “take it to the next level” and become wildly successful! Oh, and by the way, I’m an avid traveler and landscape photographer, with numerous trips around the world. The photos on this site were taken by me :)
